The Long Dock
Based in the West Clare village of Carrigaholt, The Long Dock is a Bar & Restaurant famous for their seafood dishes and warm welcome. They also sell traditional, artisan food products in their shop, all prepared in their kitchen in small batches. They needed to rebrand their packaging and website to reflect their quality.
This branding design is inspired by the established elements of The Long Dock itself. The typography is a combination of a contemporary sans serif font and a more traditional serif font. There is also a streamlined illustration of a fish and the sea, giving a nod the seafood that gives The Long Dock it’s great reputation. The red in this colour palette is taken from the iconic red on the outside of The Long Dock building. Overall, this Branding emphasises The Long Dock’s engaging and warm atmosphere and their experience in producing award-winning products.
